EndNote @ Levy Library: Endnote Web

Getting Started with EndNote Web

In addition to EndNote's desktop app, you will also have access to your EndNote library online called EndNote Web. EndNote Web is the online counterpart to the EndNote Desktop software, allowing you to read attached articles, add references, and organize your library from anywhere with an internet connection.

While an EndNote Web account is not required to use EndNote, having one will allow you to:

  • Synchronize your citations and have access even if you aren't using your computer.
  • Share your library and/or open a shared library.
  • Use the Cite While You Write (CWYW) tool in Google Docs and Microsoft Word online to insert citations and create bibliographies.

To create an EndNote web account:

  • Go to myendnoteweb.com.
  • Navigate to "Register" at the left hand side of the page.
  • Enter your preferred login information and select "Register".
