Search for Books, Journals and more in our Collection

Levy Library Research Discovery

Research Discovery provides simple, one-stop searching for journals, articles, books, e-books, digital media, and more.

Our new platform also helps you customize and manage your research experience.

You can sign up for a Research Discovery Account to gain access to the following features:

  • Renew books and materials

  • Create and save your favorites lists

  • Export citations to your Reference Management System

  • View full search results (Some databases only show results when you're signed in.)

Mount Sinai students, faculty and staff do not need a Research Discovery Account to access and view full-text resources, but you can sign up for an account to gain access to these personalized features.

Tell us what you think!

We want to know what you think of our new search platform so we can incorporate your ideas to build a better search experience.

Requesting Materials

Mount Sinai faculty, staff, and students are welcome to place requests for new library materials. For more specific guidelines, consult our Collection Development Policy, and use the form to suggest a new resource. Please note that in light of the library's physical closure we are currently unable to process requests for books in print.

If you are a course instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and would like to request your course materials be placed on reserve at Levy Library, please fill out our Course Reserves Request Form. Note that the library will purchase ebook editions of course texts whenever available to ensure widest possible access for students.
