Technology Services: Connect to WiFi

WiFi at the Levy Library

The WiFi network is accessible to faculty, students, and staff of the Icahn School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Health System

Users of the network have full access to Library resources, including our licensed e-journals, e-books, and databases.


How to Connect

School Faculty, Staff & Students:

  • Connect to MSMC-Green in your device's wireless settings.
  • When prompted for a username enter: mssmcampus\[username]
    • For example: mssmcampus\doej01
  • The password is your MSHS password.

Hospital Staff:

  • Connect to MSMC-Green in your device's wireless settings.
  • When prompted for a username enter: msnyuhealth\[your network ID]
    • For example: msnyuhealth\doej01
  • The password is your Mount SInai password.

Eduroam

Eduroam (short for "education roaming") is a federated WIFI service that allows students, faculty, and staff from participating institutions to securely access the internet at any affiliated institution using their home institution's credentials.

Visit eduroam.mssm.edu for more information about the service and how to connect.


Guest Network

Free WiFi is available in most of parts of the Mount Sinai campus for patients, visitors and guests.

Mount Sinai faculty, students, and staff using the Guest network may log into nearly all of Levy Library's licensed resources with their MSHS username and password.

Note: all users connected to the Guest network will need to re-establish a connection every 60 minutes.
