Technology Equipment Loan Policies

Equipment may be checked out up to 8 hours during Levy Library Circulation Services Desk Hours. 

Students, faculty, and staff are eligible to check out equipment with a valid Mount Sinai ID. All items must be returned prior to the circulation desk closing time at 6:00pm.

Equipment cannot be taken off campus or loaned overnight.

Phone Charging Locker

 

    

The Levy Library has self-serve phone charging locker located on the 11th floor. This locker can be used by students, faculty and staff free of charge during library operating hours. 

 Charging policies:

  • All devices must be set to silent prior to placing into the locker.
  • Devices must be removed prior to the library's closing time.
  • Devices left inside the locker overnight will be removed and sent to the security office.
  • If you are unable to retrieve your phone in the locker (i.e. lost card, door jam), please contact the library staff at the User Services desk for removal.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring their device is secured and the locker door has been closed properly.

Please note, the Levy Library and its staff is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items or devices left in the locker.
