Journal Selection for publication

A medical librarian can guide you through the use of tools for identifying target journals for publication submission, and provide tips for identifying publishing goals, and navigating journal details (such as rejection rate, impact factor, time from submission to acceptance to publication, readership, and more.)  

• JANE (Journal Author Name Estimator) - Copy and paste your abstract (or keywords) into JANE to generate list of target journals.  Visit the library's page on using JANE

The library can provide tips and resources to avoid predatory journals.
