Measurement Instruments for Research, Education, and Clinical Practice: Home

What to Expect

Identifying measurement instruments (surveys, questionnaires, tests and measures) can be difficult. This guide provides resources for locating instruments. We include databases available via the Levy Library for this purpose, books in the Levy Library collection that contain instruments, as well as web-based resources. This guide also provides instructions for using literature databases, such as PubMed and PsycINFO, for locating articles that contain measurement instruments.

Credit for many of the strategies and examples in this guide goes to the OHSU Library's Measurement Instruments for Research, Education, and Clinical Practice which was in part developed by Kristine Alpi, now Associate Dean of Libraries & Information Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
