Immersing ourselves into the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI), also called the Post-Information Age, offers a momentous opportunity to enhance our personal and professional lives. While AI has proven its utility in academic research and scholarly work, it must be used with discretion. This guide is designed to broaden one's basic understanding of AI, explore literature retrieval tools, and critically evaluate the available resources. Ultimately, it seeks to reinforce AI literacy as a critical topic and bridge the gap between relevant resources and governing bodies within Mount Sinai health and education sectors.

Artificial intelligence is "the ability of a digital computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings. The term is frequently applied to the project of developing systems endowed with the intellectual processes characteristic of humans, such as the ability to reason, discover meaning, generalize, or learn from past experience."
