Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Learning and Discovery: ISMMS Scholarly Framework

The ISMMS Framework for Scholarly Use of AI is a structured strategy for Mount Sinai leaders at all levels to integrate artificial and augmented intelligence (AI) literacy and ethical principles into education at Mount Sinai.  The framework encourages critical thinking, ethical awareness, domain expertise, and the ability to collaborate or engage with AI experts or service providers. It complements the work of the academic programs to consider AI in curricular design to ensure the learning outcomes and competencies expected from graduates.

The Framework was collaboratively developed through the ISMMS AI Committee on Teaching, Learning and Discovery.  The Committee welcomes your thoughts on the Framework and ideas for how AI can contribute to advancing learning at Mount Sinai via this form.
