The Scholars Portal Advisory Group convenes at least twice per year to cover matters related to the mission and charge outlined below. For more information, please contact scholars@mssm.edu.
Mission
The purpose of the Scholars Portal Advisory Group is to support the School’s research and education mission by optimizing the functionality and value of Scholars Portal as a means to showcase Mount Sinai research and scholarship. This includes recommending priorities for coverage and functional enhancements, proposing alignment with central systems, and promoting awareness of the resource.

The Advisory Group Charge
- Ensure alignment with MSHS goals and objectives to promote scholarly activity
- Suggest and review policies for determining access to and within the portal.
- Guide prioritization of efforts in developing and maintaining profiles within license considerations and deploying enhancements and new functions.
- Communicate on Scholars Portal activities to relevant constituencies.
- Suggest improvements based on awareness of other resources that promote scholarly activity.
