CNE, CME, MoC, or Exam Prep -- Which Option Best Suits My Needs?
Continuing Nursing Education (CNE): If you are a nurse needing to fulfill licensure requirements or seeking to stay current with the latest nursing practices.
Continuing Medical Education (CME): If you are a medical professional, such as a physician or advanced practice provider, needing to stay current in your field.
Maintenance of Certification (MoC): If you are already certified in a specialty and need to maintain that certification to demonstrate ongoing proficiency.
Exam Prep: If you are looking for study material such as question banks and practice tests.
Earning Credits vs. Claiming Credits
Credits are earned once a course, task, reading, or lecture is complete.
In most cases, credits are automatically earned based on the database you are using.
Earning credits is not the same as claiming credits. In order to claim/obtain credits, you are required to create an account to save and log your progress prior to starting an activity.
Register an account by entering your Mount Sinai credentials and confirm your registration by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
Note: The account set up instructions are provided for most resources throughout this guide.
