Resource Spotlight: Access Medicine

The Mount Sinai Health System Libraries have a wealth of online and mobile resources available to their communities. In this Resource Spotlight, we shine the light on Access Medicine

The Access Medicine app is a collection of full text, searchable textbooks covering internal medicine, cardiology, genetics, emergency medicine, ob/gyn, surgery, and more. Ever a robust resource, Access Medicine provides medical students with a variety of resources needed to excel in basic science studies and clerkships; helps residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with instant access to videos, self-assessment, and leading medical textbooks that facilitate decision-making at the point-of-care; and allows practicing physicians to brush up on their medical knowledge to ensure the best patient outcome.

To activate the Access Medicine app:

1) While on the Mount Sinai network click on the ISMMS button in the upper right-hand corner of the Access Medicine homepage

2) Create your free MyAccess profile.

3) Download and install the app, then login with your MyAccess credentials.
