NOTICE: Section of the Levy Library is Closed for Repairs

Due to a leak in the ceiling, the North-West section of the Levy Library is closed for repairs. This closure affects access to classroom 11-46, the accessible meeting pod, and one section of the study carrels (12 seats in total).We expect to reopen these spaces on Tuesday March 4, 2024.

While we work to complete repairs, please utilize all our available spaces in the Library. If you have a class scheduled in room 11-46, please contact your instructor directly for updates on the temporary class location.

The Levy Library will be operating on a modified holiday schedule for Presidents' Day:

Monday, February 19th, 8:00am - 5:50pm

We will resume our normal operating hours on the following day: Tuesday, February 20th, 2024 at 7:30am

Note: ANBG-10 Classrooms and Group Study Rooms will remain open to all ISMMS and GSBS students as study space 24/7 on all holidays.

The Mount Sinai West Library and Mount Sinai Morningside Information Commons will still be accessible 24/7 by faculty, staff, and students by using their Mount Sinai ID card. The Levy Library's Creativity Zone provides an outlet for anyone in the library to take a few minutes and recharge by doing something creative.  2023 saw many Mount Sinai community members engaging with their artistic side, using the drawing and coloring supplies in the space to express themselves. 

Take a closer look at some of the artwork everyone produced; We loved seeing what everyone put their mind to making, and hope you will as well.

And if you'd rather not be stuck inside while creating, remember that the library's front desk has a variety of supplies, such as easels, markers, drawing pads, and more, which you can check out.  As the weather gets nicer, why not set up and draw in Central Park for a study break?  For more information about the supplies the Levy Library has available, please contact our Access Services department at circdesk@mssm.edu.

The Library has added two Laptop Docking Stations to the Computer Zone. Library users may now connect their personal laptops and seamlessly start extending/duplicating their screens to a 27" high-definition monitor for more comfortable learning and working. For more information about the docking stations and compatibility, you can check out our FAQ.
