A complimentary session to Open Access and The Levy Library Press is Introduction to Authors' Rights, coming up on Thursday, May 28th. This 30-minute Zoom session will help participants learn about their rights as an author and producer of scholarly works. This session will cover:

  • Copyright basics

  • Negotiating when signing publisher agreements
  • Self-archiving your work

JOAL NOW INDEXED

The Levy Library Press is pleased to announce that the Journal of Altmetrics (JOAL) is now indexed in the Dimensions research platform and in Google Scholar. The indexing of JOAL will help to make the journal more accessible and bring important altmetrics research to a wider audience.

Every Journal of Altmetrics article is assigned a unique DOI to make it discoverable on these platforms. The mission of the Journal of Altmetrics, an Open Access journal, is to advance the understanding of the influence of altmetrics on the development of impact indicators and/or their ability to compliment or predict traditional metrics.
