Zotero @ Levy Library: Zotero: Getting Started
Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share your information sources. It automatically senses content in your web browser, allowing you to add citations and PDFs to your personal library with a single click. Whether you're searching for a preprint on arXiv.org, a journal article on PubMed, a news story from the New York Times, or a book from the library catalog, Zotero has you covered with support for thousands of sites. Be sure to also install the Zotero Connector for your browser (available on the download page) which will allow you to easily add references to your Zotero library.
Getting Started with Zotero
In addition to Zotero's desktop app, you will also have access to your Zotero library online at zotero.org, allowing you to read attached articles, add references, and organize your library from anywhere with an internet connection.
If you are on a Mount Sinai-issued PC, you may notice that Zotero's Cite While You Write functionality does not integrate into Microsoft Word. Please follow these steps to request a security workaround to enable this add-on.
