How to Create Assessor Pool & Add Pool to Rubric (Portfolio)

Overview

In Portfolio, a rubric is called an "Assessment Instrument." This guide will go over how to create an assessor pool group, which allows different set of faculty to grade assignments based on weighted percentage. It will also go over how to add the assessor pool group onto a rubric.

Instructions

If you don't already have an assessor pool created:

  • Expand the Menu on the left
  • Select Users and Groups
  • Then Assessor Pools

  • Click Add Assessor Pool
  • Click Choose Group

  • Select Medical School to collapse the menu
  • Select Medical School again and it will automatically move to the right column
  • Click Done

  • Under Pool Members select your Assessors
  • Click Medical School
  • Then find them in the A-Z column or utilize the search bar in the middle column
  • After clicking on the name of the Assessor their name should be moved to the right most column

  • Click Save in the upper right corner
  • On the same page, scroll back down and set the Submission Percentage for each assessor. The total must be 100.

  • Expand the Menu on the left
  • Select Curriculum
  • Select Assessment Instruments

  • Click on the rubric you want and select Edit

  • Select Settings from the top sub menu
  • Under Regime select the Work is Submitted to Assessor Pool radio button
  • Then select the drop down menu to select the Assessor Pool Group
  • Click Save Settings
