EndNote @ Levy Library: How do I back up my library?

How do I back up my library?

It's a good idea to backup your EndNote library regularly to ensure you do not lose your work. To backup your library, you'll need to save a compressed (.enlx) file

To save a compressed library file,

  1. Open the library in EndNote.
  2. Select File>>Compress Library (.enlx)...
  3. A Compressed Library (.enlx) dialogue box will appear. Leave the options as they are and click OK.

  4. Click "Save" to save your compressed library. You'll now have a .enlx file saved with your .enl file and .Data folder.
