Annals of Global Health, published formerly as The Mount Sinai Journal of Medicine, is a peer-reviewed, Open Access Journal focused on global health. The journal’s mission is to advance and disseminate knowledge of global health, promote research and foster the prevention and treatment of disease worldwide by supporting open dissemination and lively discourse about a wide range of the most important topics in global health and medicine.
The most recent issue of Annals of Global Health (Volume 84 - Issue 1 - 2018) focuses on health, research and education issues in Africa. The issue's content ranges from articles such as "Group Mentorship Model to Enhance the Efficiency and Productivity of PhD Research Training in Sub-Saharan Africa" to "Racial or Ethnic Health Disparities among Older Adults in Four Population Groups in South Africa."
One of the most popular pieces in this issue, an editorial titled "Linkage of the Medical Education Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and the Nursing Education Partnership Initiative (NEPI) to the African Forum for Research and Education in Health (AFREhealth)," has been viewed 476 times and downloaded 113 times.
