Levy Library is excited to introduce our new Reference and Instruction Librarian, Samantha Walsh. Samantha comes to us with a recent background in academic medical librarianship. She provides research assistance and instruction to the ISMMS community, and acts as library liaison to the Public Health, Healthcare Delivery Leadership, and Genetic Counseling graduate programs. Samantha is also excited to serve as Levy Library’s chief reference management consultant, assisting users with tools such as EndNote and Zotero.
Samantha earned her Master of Library Science degree from Queens College in 2015, after studying English & History at SUNY New Paltz. Originally from Long Island, Samantha now lives in Astoria, Queens. She loves to read and is currently pursuing an MA in Literature, Language, and Theory at Hunter College. As an Information Professional, Samantha is passionate about ensuring that students become confident and adaptable information seekers. Samantha is located in the Levy Library on the 11th floor of the Annenberg building.
