The medical profession can be stressful. We know that's not a surprise. That's why the Mount Sinai Health System library network supports the community with its abundance of resources for education and research. Of course, even with academic and professional support, everyone needs to unwind now and then!

On Wednesday, March 14th, Levy Library teamed up with Drum Cafe to bring drumming to Mount Sinai. Through the act of creating music as a group, this session promoted creativity, strengthened non-verbal communication and reinforced the sense of community. Over the course of the event, participants were lead through drumming exercises by the instructors, had the opportunity to lead each other, and even got up and danced!

The evening wrapped up with post-drumming conversation over wine and cheese, generously provided by the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences!

The Levy Library is happy to announce that Mount Sinai's subscription to resources from BMJ offers new benefits for our community. Levy Library Hours Update: Early Opening and Closure on Saturday, March 29 - plan ahead!

Please be advised that due to a planned electrical shutdown and maintenance in the Annenberg Building, the Levy Library will have adjusted hours on Saturday, March 29, 2025.Adjusted Levy Library HoursTo accommodate building-wide electrical maintenance, Levy Library will have adjusted hours and access over the weekend.
