The Levy Library and Systems Libraries teams would like to welcome all the new residents and fellows to the Mount Sinai community. We are happy to have you here with us and we hope that your time here at Mount Sinai will be full of memorable and meaningful experiences.

As a new resident or fellow, I'm sure you are wondering what resources and services does the library have to offer me? The simple answer is a lot! From clinical tools like UpTodate and Lexicomp to board review materials like Board Vitals and rotation prep materials like NEJM Resident 360, we have everything you may need to help set you up for success. In addition to our resources, we have a great team of librarians that available to provide systematic review and publication support services, so when you are ready to start your research journey, we are here to help from the beginning to the end.

Interesting in learning more about what the library has to offer? Good news is that we created a guide about the services and resources that we think all our new residents would enjoy. You can check out that guide here:

Now, form own experience form resident orientations, I know the most popular question we get from our residents and fellows is how can you all get access to UpToDate. Since it is a very popular resource, we made a quick and simple step by step visual to help you register for your UpToDate account and get access to the mobile app. Also, if you have a previous UpToDate account with your last institution, we have a quick tip on how to merge your account and bring your CME credits with you!

Of course, if you have any questions about UpToDate or any of the resources and services from the Library, you can also Ask A Librarian for help. Once again, welcome to Mount Sinai!
