Top Articles of 2020 published by the Mount Sinai Community

2020 has been an unprecedented year. I don't have to explain this because we all have spent the last 11 months living it. Even Oxford Languages could not sum up this year in just one word, so to say this that year has been one for the records books is a bit of an understatement. With the year coming to a close, we wanted to take look back at 2020 through the lens of publications from Mount Sinai clinicians, scientists and researchers. 

Using the Mount Sinai Plum dashboard we are able to learn what has been the most popular or talked about articles that have been published in 2020. On the same dashboard we can also look at how the world interacts and engages with published research from the Mount Sinai community. Plum Analytics (PlumX) captures both traditional and alternative metrics, so we have the ability to track more traditional forms of interactions and usage of publications like downloads and citations, but also see how publications are shared on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
