Accessing articles via Google Scholar

Look for the Find@LevyLibrary to launch a search for the item in the Levy Library catalog.

If you are searching from off-campus, you will need to login with your username and password to see full-text articles via the Find@ Levy Library link.

Not Seeing Find@LevyLibrary Links, or Hitting A Robot Error Message?

Try manually linking your Google Account to access Levy Library Full Text. To link your Google account to Levy Library/ISMMS, go to our customized Google Scholar Settings screen, select all Mount Sinai options, and click Save. If you're logged into your Google account, it will remember that setting from now on.

How to Customize your Google Scholar Settings and add the Levy Library to your Profile
  1. Navigate to scholar.google.com in your web browser. 
  2. If you are not signed into your Google account, you will need to sign in by clicking on the SIGN IN button on the top right corner of the screen.
    • NOTE: ISMMS faculty, students, and staff will not be able to customize a Google Scholar profile with school credentials as IT administration has disabled this feature. Please use your personal email address to sign into Google to access your profile and update your settings.
  3. Click on the three bars at the top-left of the screen.
  4. Click "Settings" in the drop-down menu.
  5. In the settings menu, click "Library Links."
  6. Search for Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
  7. Select the box next to "Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai - FInd@LevyLibrary" option. 
  8. Click Save.
  9. Search results will now include links to materials in the Levy Library collection. Right click on the "Find@LevyLibary" link to to open the full-text resource in a new window or tab.
