Call for proposals: Mindful Medicine seminar series

The Levy Library, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is now accepting proposals for 2018 for our Mindful Medicine seminar series. This series presents engaging workshops and seminars to address the humanistic emotional, ethical and spiritual aspects of clinical practice and the patient experience. Workshop/seminar attendees are eligible for 2 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM

 

Past programs in this series have included:

 

All members of the Mount Sinai Health System community are welcome to submit proposals. Faculty, students, housestaff, staff, and alumni of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai are strongly encouraged to apply.

2018 has been designated Year of Mental Health at MSHS Libraries. As such, proposals related to mental health are strongly encouraged.

Levy Library will provide support in the amount of $500.00 to assist with program expenses. 

 

Application requirements

  • Abstract/topic summary (300 words or less)
  • Program format (i.e., lecture, panel discussion, Q&A format, case based/problem solving discussion, hands-on practice workshop)
  • Target audience(s)
  • Potential speakers (if applicable)
  • Attendee learning objectives (2-4)
  • Co-sponsors (if applicable)
  • Contact information and resume/CV
